Blaze Saves the Moraine is the story of a diverse group of friends who join forces to battle Evil Bad Brad, a developer with dollar signs in his eyes, and greed in his heart.

It is the first in a trilogy of children's books about the environment and multi-culturalism.

Author Dana Brooks is an accomplished comedienne and writer who lives in Downtown Toronto with her best friend, Border Collie Daisy Duz.

Illustrator Heidi Hankaniemi would love to be best friends with Torio Towhee. Born in Finland, she lives and works in Madrid.
